boost taper question

boost taper question

please help, after i install mbc to my car that taper is gone but after the cam and tune now on my gauge i can see boost dropping about the same as stock one on
low gear but at 5th gear is hold better. so is it normal for other people?

p.s. i didn't feel my car lose power.

I dont think you need to bump and keep replying to your own thread 2 times in like 10 min. People have lives and dont live on the forum just to answer your questions. Who is installing your cams and tuning? Why don't you ask them those questions when you go for a test drive? You seem to ask alot of questions about your car and and it seems to me that you install your mods yourself. If not ask the person doing it if he cant answer them I think you need someone more knowledgeable of your car.

yes it's hallman

the tuner said it's normal
but the thing is after i put mbc my car is seem to hold boost very good not going down like this
but after the cam and tune is going down like 4-6 pounds but i don't feel my car is slower

It is normal, your cams increase the volumetric efficiency of the motor and uses more of the air the turbo provides, sucking the boost away and dropping the psi by redline. 2-3 psi drop is normal, depending on cam lift and duration it could drop even more.
