Vivid Racing Dyno Results
Vivid Racing teamed up with the best Dyno in the southwest. Dyno Comp. Dyno Comp uses a Dyno Dynamics Dynamometer. This dyno tends to read a bit lower then others, but is very accurate and efficient. No hidden tweaks or BS with this dyno run. Just baseline numbers so you can see what is being achieved with your stock EVO. The important part is that with every part we put on the vehicle we will give you dyno results so you know if the exhaust is working, or that grounding kit really makes a difference! Follow us through our project as we will have the best, most featured, and intense EVO in the USA. Think we have what it takes? Check out our April features in Super Street and Import Racer on our WRX!

I'm used to my lancer only losing like 20hp rather than 40 but at 15% usual loss you are right on. Just 40 seems like such a huge loss. If you could get a bit of that back... which is easily done, car would be more impressive to me. Just 40hp is so big to me as it took turbo to give me just over that gain which was a wopping differnce! It's all good though Didn't mean to seem unimpressed... I am very impressed by the EVO. Though i'm right on it's heals though! HE HE I love my turbo. Sorry for confusion

So... we've decided to put our heads together and come up with some standard settings (inertial factor, ramp-up rate, intake temp sensor placement, etc,.) so that our results are reasonably comparable. This may take a little time though. But we're working on it. His numbers are likely to come down substantially. And ours may go up a bit. We'll probably end up meeting in the middle like all good negotiators

Thanks Vividracing for posting your results. I am anxious to see how much further you plan to exploit the EVO. I for one would be interested in the performance packages you may offer for the EVO 8. But of course after you squeezed it for maximum power. I'm from Michigan, but would consider taking a trip to your facility for some performance upgrades. Thanks again and keep the info coming.
