Question 05 clutch install

Does anyone know how to do a clutch job on the 05 evo i heard you also need to bleed the acd, is this true? my clutch went out at 2700 miles and need to replace it quick someone help.

Yes, you need the MUT tool to activate the ACD pump in order to bleed it properly.

how did u managed to do that? i have over 15000 miles on mine, and many drag strip races on it, and still no slipping. anyways...i heard that u need a tool to bleed the acd properly, but i dont know if it s nececary for a new clutch.

I would get it done and then take it to "satan" to have them initiate the MUT tool bleed function on the ACD.

I just installed a clutch on a 05 with the acd and figured out how to do it without bleeding the acd system so there is no need to go to the dealer. PM me if you want more info.

from what was posted in another thread the tool that allows dealers to bleed the ACD line is propeitary and Mitsu will not sell it. However the people who have taken off the trans have figured out a way to bleed the line without the tool.
