i installed a new motor in my car a couple of weeks ago. ofcourse i drained out the old trans and t-case fluid, and out the new stuff in.
now, i am getting a leak. i think its coming from the tcase. i know its gear oil fluid because i can smell it. its leaking real bad.
one thing i should point out. on the tcase, there is a little rubber ball cap. well i just found it on the garage floor. i tried to look at the tcase while it was on the car, and i could not find where the hole is.
does anyone have any picture of where the cap is?
as for the leak, could i be leaking from over filling?
the tcase was never opened up and only has 8k on it.

does anyone atleast know where that cap goes. maybe a picture of the top of a t-case can help

lol, how come??
it doesn't leak any more now. i used a light touch of grey gasket maker on the side of the trans to help seal the o-ring better and it worked.
