dryad001's MAF-less excursion
Well I have the maftpro unit in hand and just reading over the directions to get this puppy installed and hopefully running by the end of the day. I did go with the speed density route so that is the info I will be offering.
Overall, it seems pretty easy to hook up, the part I think that will take the longest is to mount the AIT sensor in the UICP.
Alright here is the website that you can purchase it from www.fullthrottlespeed.com and the main site is www.maftpro.com .
Anyone who can host pics for me please pm me with the site, prostreet will only show them for x number of days.

Just kinda of looking over the directions at this moment eating breakfast. I am using the LC-1 wideband to help clarify things. There is only 7 wires I will have to splice into the ecu harness, it would be 9 but the wideband already has the analog out and analog ground wires so that gets rid of 2 splices right there.

OK. The wire splices that came with the kit are the one's I don't like using so I went to Radio Shack and picked up 2 pkg of the "tap-in squeeze connectors" part number: 64-3053. I have never had a problem with these ever coming apart, not sure of the others that came with the maftpro wiring.

Slow down there. Pics will be posted at the end before the car is started, then I'll try and get video of the car running without the maf.
AIT is mounted in the pipe, now the PNP harness has to get run then all we have to do is get the wideband hooked up (FIREBALL WHERE ARE YOU??) and the install is done.
