I say pull it out as long as you drive the car like you don't hate it Really though, you'll love the ability to truly modulate the clutch with the restrictor out.

Appreciate that mitsuorder, I dont beat on the car perse, NEVER dropped the clutch, and dont drive it like an idiot. If it is easy to put it in, and take it out, I guess I can try both, and see where I like it the best!

If you drop the clutch, you are actually being easier on the clutch, but harder on the driveline. If you allow it to slip a lot it is harder on the clutch but easier on the rest of the driveline. If you NEVER drop the clutch as you say, then you probably won't notice any difference with the restrictor out whatsoever because you are already controlling how fast the clutch engages with your foot.

Thanks for the input ACTman, guess I will leave it alone, I was just thinking if I took it out, i would get longer longevity.

For longevity, try the blue pill... Oh sorry, I couldn't resist.

I wished I would've taken mine out before I did. Because I left it in I only got 22k miles off my stock clutch..although that includes probably 100 launches and 2+ years of autox'ing
The clutch 992gnt is talking of lasting 22k compared to his 32k miles is my car. We both drive and use our Evo's very similarly.
I just replaced my stock clutch with an Exedy twin disc, took out the pill, and put on a ss clutch line.

No, the restrictor removal helps in your ability to feel the clutch's engagement while modulating it in BOTH daily driving and launching. When I pulled my restrictor I also had to readjust my clutch for it to properly disengage while shifting at higher rpms. Not saying that this will be mandatory for all who remove the pill, just that when my friend and I pulled ours we both had to readjust.
