4 Pauter rods with 5,500 miles. Magnafluxed and in perfect condition: $350.00

A 4g64 Pauter/RNR racing knife edged crank, never installed and cost me $2000.00 new: $750.00

I decided to go back to a 2.0L which is why I have these parts available.

If you're looking for a 2.3L go with a 100mm crank. A compression ratio between 8.5:1 and 9:1 would be fine. Good luck!

The pistons are going to be custom JE pistons with a compression ratio of 8.5:1 with a .20 over bore. With JE wrist pins and are going to be cryo treated and the tops are going to be coated with Calico's CT2 metallic ceramic coating and the skirts are going to be treated with Calico's CT3 matrix-flouropolymer high stress coating.

The rods are going to be titanium crower rods and are going to be cryo treated and coated with CT5 flouropolymer oil shedding coating to reduce drag.

And the crank is going to be a crower crank with a stroke a little bit bigger then the 4g64 crank. Its going to be knife-edged and cryo created and coated again with CT5 flouropolymer oil shedding coating to reduce drag.

The block is going to be polished and honed and have some other things done to it . Some people say this part is not really a big deal but we are building a race engine and if it makes the engine last longer then we are all for it. Its has been done to the supra and its going on 40,000 miles of really harsh driving and nothing has happened.

all the bearings are going to be coated with calico's CT1 Teflon based coating.

This is just the block not the head or any other things, lol. Don't expect for this Evo to be out for a while cause it is going to cost some $$$$$. If you want to know what the head of the engine is going to consist of I will tell some things.

And good luck with you stroker engine and sorry for hijacking this thread.
Are you going to use a standard rod legth or a bit shorter, how much lower can you go on comp. hieght and still have a strong ring land? Stroker pistons all seem to be running in the 28/29mm range and I was wondering if you knew how much more you could stroke you could get without going to a shorter rod? Who is spec'ing the piston for you? Piston speed is already gettting high on the 100mm stroke, how high to you plan to spin it?

Stroke the engine is a good thing to do!
I have a 2,2 MA Developments stroker kit and a 3542 GT turbo.
Running 2,2bar boost and 561hp at the wheels.. Around 800NM of torque

Great Results- I'm thinking of the MA Developments stroker myself.

Was the 561bhp atw on a Dyno Dynamics RR?

Thanks man! The engine is in Texas at my dads shop, The crank and rods have not been ordered yet, But I have talked to crower and they crank will be around 16 or 17 weeks till I get it. We bought a spear head and cut it in half to see if their are any more spaces we could port and polish. We are going the extra mile to make power. I just wish We had a large budget to get the project done sooner. I will get some pics up as soon as I can.

Way to do it cheapest is crank from a junker for cheap-400, eagle rods for about 300, ross pistons for about the same, bearings for 100, and then your just about done for a lot less than a kit.

cosworth is releasing a 94mm stroker crank/kit that will utilize their f1 piston technology and carrillo rods. if anyone is saving their pennies looks like this is the one to get. matched with their cylinder head this is going to be an awesome combo.
