Evo Crankwalk????
Ok im familiar with eclipses and i know the 7 bolt 2nd gens had problems with crank walk. since they are pretty much the same motors has anyone heard or actually experienced this problem? just wondering because ive also heard that the crankwalk issues starting occuring around 30k or higher which im sure a lot of evo owners are close to that number of mileage. well just wondering, thanks.

A simple search (by subject line via advanced search) gets you over 200 pages of discussions on crankwalk. I would suggest trying that first.

Well..see crankwalking was mostly resolved in the 1999 Eclipses GS-Ts and GS-Xs after a production date of April. Mitsubishi decided to put in a bearing design to prevent crank walking. Even though some still had the crankwalk after that production date, it was pretty rare. Also the Lancer Evolution had a complete new design with the crankshaft bearing and there have not been any reports of crankwalking in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII and beyond. So basically you should not even be worried about this issue. And on another note, just search on here or on dsmtuners.com so you can understand exactly what the problem is and how it was resolved if youre interested.

ive heard of alot of synchro issue with the '03s. there was a TSB about it.
from my understanding the '04 and '05s had updated synchros.

Like you said, if you don't try the search option,(more than once) but instead post a new thread. It become very hard to find the answer your looking for when searching.
On your side it is easier to just ask a question and get an answer.
I think the mods should do some major thread deletions.

We do take our technical forums seriously and ask members to not clutter them with question that have been ask and answered 100 times. Thanks.
