JEBUS CHRISTOS!!! Loud whistle!! HELP
SO I changed my clutch from stock to ACT HDSSw/ Super street disc. Now for the first 100miles of my break in the car was normal. Almost exactly at 150miles the drivetrain is creating this unbelievably loud winding/whistleing sound. I checked the fluids on the transfercase they're fine. Anyone have any suggestions on this...and by loud I mean like emergency broadcast loud.

it's most likely a boost leak. Check your intercooler pipes especially the one that comes right off the turbo. I had the exact same problem.
chances are it's not your clutch at all....just a loud whistle from one of your connections.
hope that helps

My bet, it's you t-case. There will be no difference in how the cars drives, just a loud noise when driving.

The only time the car would drive diferentyl with a blown tc, its when the front diff has been blown, this can be felt when making left or right hand turns.
I his case, the fluid ****ed up the ring and pinions in the tc, hence why the tc is whinning.......Ive riden in an Evo with rings and pinions messed up due to the wrong fluid and it was LOUD!!!! It was a loud whinning like you describe. Call Jon at TRE or email him, he can answer that for you better. www.teamrip.com

I got my clutch installed and they tightened up my dp too much when putting it back on and bent the butterfly things on the ends of where the dp ends. It caused a massive boost leak and a really loud whistle under boosting conditions.

Yah, no GL 5! Cause of the brass parts. I asked mitsu along time if GL 5 was ok just to see what they would say. Yah sure it will work! I won't let them even put air in my tires.
You should have looked or checked first. I hope everything works ok.
