Revolver Cam Test! HKS who?

Does anyone know if you could get these to pass CA smog with a proper tune?
I have been looking into doing cams and am highly considering these cams but dont want to have to pull them out when I go to smog it.

A good tune isn't going to resolve the long overlap that creates a 'dirty' idle in the first place, and I'd say the chances of installing them straight up and getting that to pass emissions is between slim and none.
If I were going to attempt to pass an emissions test with the likes of Revolver, JUN 272, Tomei 280, etc., I would widen the LSA to around 116 degrees with a set of cam gears, see if that allows me to get a butter-smooth idle at 14.7:1 AFR, and hold my breath.

The long duration in conjunction with the LSA is what contributes to the bumpy, dirty idle.

There's absolutely no way that Revolvers will pass smog in CA legitimately, cam gears or not. I tried every cam gear combo imaginable when I had mine, and the idle quality ranged from terrible to unbearable. If you need to smog your car in CA, these are NOT the cams for you.
