Dude dont waste your money on cam gears, you really dont need if you get a good tune. The idle is a tad lopey in my car but I think it sounds mean. I havent had any stalling issues or any of the other stuff people talk about. The gears will help the idle sound more stockish but their a waste of money if you ask me.Very little or no performance gains, But then again its just my opinion. Good Luck

Thanks guys for the input ill go ask around. Anyone know any shops in the Bay Area? I know Works and Vishnu are here but they may be expensive.

With the 280s I plan on running the cam gears are well worth it, also being how I only need one to run the setting I plan on. I will pick up a good deal of power and alot of TQ

He asked about 272's and gears, I had no interest in/or knowledge of 280's due to running a stock turbo. I posted my opinion in referance to my experience with 272 cams only, not 280's.
