Hi guys, need some help here

My factory sports gauge
The sensor wire that goes into the engine oil drain plug is broken.
This wire is attached with the drain plug, and the other side goes to the sensor i think.

i went to the dealer, they won't sell me just this, they ask me to buy the whole sports gauge package, which doesn't make sense at all


so anyone know where i can buy this part? or other brand's sensor wire will work on this?? if it does, will the reading be off?

I'm about to get some defi gauges, so if i can ge this fixed, then i won't have to get oil temp. gauge again

the wire is broke and disconnected

 

Just a thought... But did the gauges come with the car from the dealership -- Specifically a Mitsubishi option?

I would have thought that they would be covered under warrantee?


That being said, the wiring isn't exactly complicated and probably can be repaired quite easily. Do you have a pic of the broken connection?

i'll take a pic of the broken wire
dealer is helpless, i went to them couple times
i saw they had the wire laying around
but they WOULD NOT sell that wire seperately
which means i have to purchase the whole sports gauge packege which is around 400$$

i'll get the picture up tomrrow, see if anyone would know where to source it
