Probably a difficult question to answer, but
What does 340whp equate to in 0-60 times? I noticed on the Buscher Racing site, they state that their Buscher 350 does 0-60 in 3.9 seconds. From what I understand, that's 350 crank. Anyone have any ideas of how to figure what a car making 340whp would do from 0-60. Again, I realize that it's probably a difficult question (and a to some a waste of time) to answer but I'm curious as to estimations that you guys might have. I'm not a mechanical engineer, so I'm not sure if there's a way to calculate something like that.

Bone stock, they already do 4.7 seconds. The Buschur 350 goes 0-60 in 3.9 seconds with 350hp crank. So it's gotta/should be lower than 3.9. Just wondering how much lower.

thats hard to judge without having actually having it timed....best you can do if noone actually has timed it is try to find a car to compair it to...this is very flawed too since alot of factors come into play, mostly gearing. but a decent comparison i would think would be to maybe a 996tt. i believe they run about 12.3-12.6 range at 113-116, and they are awd too so it should get out the hole about the same. i think they hit high 3.9 low 4s in 0-60. i wouldnt hold any value in proof just a comparison
this is also with an average launch and 1-2 shift...as most road testers only have a short time in the cars they are testing and usually do not get the best possible results that can be had

if im not mistaken, when manufacturers give power numbers it is usually flywheel power, they dont really tell the actual to the wheel power, it helps them give the car a better image and say "this car makes X amount of hp" when it really doesnt put that much to the ground.

when i said find a car to try and compair it to i did not mean hp wise i meant ET wise in the 1/4. if to totally different cars run around the same time chances are their power to weight is close to each other. and yes cars advertise crank hp not wheel

There's a lot of variables invovled when questioning times at the track. THe only way to find out is go experiment. I mean.... you have to take in account your driving/launching skills as well. Did you ask Doug? Ask him and see what he has to say. You probably got at 340whp on his dyno...he should have a pretty good idea on what your car should do 0-60mph.
