Just wanted to give this a little tap since I have been seeing some questions come up recently that this thread could help answer.

I have a buschur SS o2 housing and I LOVE it! Definite power gains, I did their ported exhaust manifold at the same time. When I had everything apart, I ported my turbine housing just a little to match up with the gasket on the inlet side.

Aside from a little weight reduction, I don't have anything good to say about the ebay O2 housing. I have gone back to stock and I don't believe it is a restriction at all.

We run the Buschur SS O2 housing and consider it a part our our combination that's a necessary step to successful trips down the 1/4. I look at it like taking a drink of water while eating beef jerky. Without the water, the beefjerky makes you thirsty. Without the beefjerky, the water has no substance or flavor. Put the two together and you've got a meal. I know, dorky, but it gets the point across. Not every option can stand alone. Combine a few and all of a sudden you've got something that works.

Maybe the "ebay" 02 housing you have isn't the right one. There's about 20 different "ebay" 02 housings out there. We bought a bunch of them and put a bunch of them in the garbage can.

Just to add some metrics:

Comparing the ID of the OEM cast iron O2 housing's outlet pipe to the ID of the Megan Racing S/S O2 housing...

OEM = 56 mm
MR = 63 mm

And, I weighed them too :

OEM = 6.77 lb.
MR = 3.23 lb.

Are these "good" o2 housings still available on ebay? Does BR still use the ebay ones or is he making his own now?

I have not been able to find them on Ebay anymore. We bought around 5 different 02 housings from different vendors on Ebay and could not find a good one. We have found another source for them but not through Ebay.

Why do you say that? You did not get any increase in power or did yours crack?
