Does this swap require new tunning, mind you my car has a mail-in flash?

Interested, but do you think this would eliminate the surge that I am currently seeing w/ Ti/Al wheel. If this could eliminate the surge and boost power I am all over it

to clarify for u slower guys,

david will take your evo 8 core (in good working order ,either 9.8 or 10.5 hotside) and convert it to a evo 9 20g. the evo 9 stock turbo has a bigger compressor housing. u will need the install kit from buschur with is $175 on top of the cost of the rebuild.

the new compressor housing in the evo 9 20g eliminates surge with the regular wheel, i dont think anyone has tested the 20g-9 with the ti-al wheels. one 1 that i know of has been sold and david does not sugest it.

what kind of time frame are we looking at once we send our turbo in for the upgrade? i have an '03 turbo with the 9.8 and would like to convert it to the ix20g with 10.5. also, once the turbo is converted, would it be exactly like the ix20g's you are selling now?

Power difference between the EVO8 and EVO9 20G's is minimal, the only difference is the EVO9 turbo doesn't surge.

No problems running alcohol, the turbo doesn't care what you run through it.

$950 to convert your EVO8 to a EVO9 yes. The 10.5 housing is $250, correct. Seems like you just repeated what I wrote

The turbo gets rebuilt. No you do not get your turbo back.

The turbine housing is NOT included with this. You will be using whatever you have for a turbine housing now or you will have to buy a new 10.5 housing.

My car is at 388 whp and 393 ft lbs on race gas with this turbo on our dyno.

2 weeks turn around time, about, on the turbo upgrade.

You do still need an install kit to do this which is $175.

What about the EvoIX WGA ?
does it come with the $950 turbo rebuild , $175 install kit or is that extra ?
