Exedy Hyper Single Clutch

I have and Exedy hyper single clutch with about 2000 miles on it. I find if I try and shift above 7k rpm I get complete and total lock-out. I've tried adjusting the clutch pedal and that didn't work. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? Could it be a bad clutch install? Thanks in advance!

It is mosly likely an install issue but there is no way to tell without taking it out. Check the splines on the disc to be sure they didn't get messed up when putting the trans. in.

don't know but it's an expensive clutch and shouldn't be doing that. If I shift before 7 it's fine, but after 7 it's complete lockout. I lost to a gto the other night just cuz i couldn't get it into 2nd after the launch. By the time I did I was down to bout 3k rpm

Bleed the slave cylinder. Remove the restrictor. Make sure your trans fluid is fresh and full.

Ok, now this clutch seems to be going out already. WTF!!! I've launched on it not even half as many times as i did the stock. With the power I'm running to this clutch this should not happen. Anyone else have any issues with the clutch?
