Why no alcohol? I'm trying to talk myself out of it. Interested in your perspective!

I hate having to do this EVERYTIME to explain a DynoDynamics.

DynoDynamics Dyno's read lower than other Dyno's such as dynojets and dynopacks. They read similar to Mustang Dyno's. DD Dyno's are just more accurate and consistant than others and great for tuning.

For comparison, this evo would put down aprrox 425whp (93oct) on a Dynojet local to Atlanta.

Expect to see 100+ more whp on race gas (C12)

you may think that this is low but a srock evo will only put down about 230 hp so over 100 hp on this dyno. I will say that the car will haul **** .

Actually, a stock EVO 8 gives around 200whp or so on a Dyno Dynamics dyno.

I would like to see some rage gas numbers! Would be a waste otherwise if you are not going to run rage gas or alky; 3071 would be a better choice. If you will run race gas or alky etract that statement otherwise LOL!!

Yep I have personally see as low as in the 180s on Evo's and Sti's. So some very good power for sure.

Race gas #'s are sure to be around the 440-450 mark on our dyno at about 26-27 lbs of boost..
FWIW Stock 03's dyno around 205-215whp
Stock 05's MR's etc around 225-230 whp

I have just tuned a 3071 on pump and made 350 whp on 93 octane @22 psi

what would the numbers be like on pump and alky at 26-28psi? also, what is the difference between your numbers and dynojets?

You seem to be getting extremely consistant numbers with the 30r's Andrew.. Its good to see that all the evo's in the shop are putting down very nice numbers consitantly.

Event, thanks for clearing up the DD #'s the other guy was saying seemed low. I really think people should take time and research a bit about dyno's and figures. When I get a race map, I will post all charts from stock to current, so you guys can see how she has grown and not just a peak number.

Todd, again it was great to meet you and the others down there. Im glad your haveing fun with your little baby. I know mine is a thrill to drive.

Just use race gas. Don't have to worry about anything not working right.

Great #'s and that car has to be a blast on the street.

the 35r is good if you build the motor. you need to run more boost the have fun with the 35r.

about the alky question, I dont want to use it I dont think it is the way to go, you can run out of alky and them you are screwed, I have seen a few kit not work well. so for me it will be race gas.
