No, the stock one is fine.

You should do some reading:

Please nobody flame him.

Howstuffworks.com is an amazing site! Between searching and that site, you can answer many questions that you may have. Good luck with your research!

No doubt. I would rather see this question than "what's the best mod for my car?"

This is why i like EvolutionM a little more than NASIOC. When someone asks a question, even if it is an extreme newb, you guys done tell them to go DIAF or something stupid like that. You dont say "DO A FUXXING SEARCH YOU STUPID MOTHA FUXXOR". This forum just seems a little more mature than others. I think ill like it here.

always helps to tell them to search AND explain/answer the question, but we are repeating again, back to the wastegate.

the next question hes probally wondering is in what situation should he change the wg =P

Actually, that's normally how it is, but although this question dealt with a basic function of a turbo system, it was not really a basic question. I know what my wastegate is for, but I couldn't explain it to you in technical terms. It was a good question and not one that gets asked 10 times every day like the others where we scream SEARCH!
