Yeah I'm still wondering about the wga myself :\ It does seem to be rather high boost for pump gas (with no way of turning it down). I really don't want to remove the wga and install the stock one lol.. just tired of working on things.

Which actuator are you using? Something different than what's on the shop car?

The 'upgraded actuator' from Buschur. I have the same one and same issue with pump gas :\

Shop car is controlling boost with AEM EMS I believe.

So am I. Boost is controlled through AEM and a Perrin boost controller.

The boost won't go any lower.

I think the 20G-9 with alcohol is going to be one deadly combo. A combo that will be making its way on my car this spring. Id like 450whp with that. Then I can change my liscense plate to something custom b/c my car will be truly badass.

Well, 6 months ago there was no 9 20G. New things come out all the time, but the WR is still a good turbo.

I agree, my friend has a WR on his '03 and his car is an animal on just pump gas. It is a good turbo

this turbo seems to be the answer that I am looking for as well. The spool i'm guessing is similar to stock with much more up top? Seems like a perfect street turbo. Anxious for the results

I'm curious to see results as well, I am wondering how much of a difference a 20G-9 would have over a stock Evo IX turbo

I'm not bashing the WR at all. I'm just stating that when the WR was released it was like $1500 with minnimal gains and now we have the 9 20G with better gains for the same price or cheaper.

The WR similarly configured cost less than the 20G-9. IMO too early to compare performance numbers.
