2.0 or 2.3 stroker
Well im at the point where i need to choose what motor to put in my 03 evo.My block is cracked, so i need a whole new short block.My options are a 'built' 2.0 or the 2.3stroker.can someone help me out with the pros and cons for both

This is how I am looking at it.... AMS sorry to use them as example like everyone else but look at it this way martin's evo 2.0 808 awhp / chris' car 2.3 826 awhp.......... I don't really see that much of an advantage 18hp.......... please !!

Unless you are reving your engine to 9k rpms a 2.3 will be fine.
If i had the cash i would do a 2.3 stroker

every thing else is still stock.i figured if i was going to do it, i would do it right the first.Will that hurt me to run the stock heads,cams and everything else for a while with the 2.3?
