Why would you purchase a 02 housing before an downpipe?

Buy yourself a turboback, flash and MBC, then work on the 02 housing.

Just me .02

I was told that you should always upgrade the exhaust backwards. start at the tip and work toward the turbo, otherwise you will get more flow out of the o2 housing and it will bottleneck up at the downpipe....

That doesn't make any sense, either way I would buy a tbe before an 02 housing that still is up in the air as far as gains go. No real track trap speeds for proof.

Yes it does fit, its on mine right now with the full stock exhaust. I ran out of time making my exhaust and had to put all the stock stuff back in.

If you think about it though, if you upgrade AFTER the turbo, you'll get quicker spool up because of the larger diameter AND the heat being kept in a lot of the ceramically coated DP/O2 housings. . .which only improves gas velocity, which will then funnel into the IP pipe, which will lose you some horse power, which could be rekindled with a nice straight through muffler. . .
So starting from cat back or O2/DP should give you same results. . .but we know a full TBE is the best of both (may not be so nice on your ears though!)

It doesn't work that way. You will see no gains in spoolup or power from an o2 with the stock exhaust just like you see no gains from a downpipe with the stock cat and stock cat-back.
