Buschur Deluxe has much shorter lower IC pipe routing and the whole package is less expensive...

[shameless plug]

...especially if you buy the one that I'm selling

I cant say anything about the Buschur product because i have never seen it in person or tried it, but I have the AMS front mount and I couldn't be happier with the quality of it. The thing is absolutely gorgeous.

AMS has claimed whp numbers on their site. 7-10 whp. I chose the AMS because it replaces the entire LICP and judging from the pictures on the Buschur site, to me it looks like their kit only replaces part of the LICP. I could be wrong but I don't regret my choice.

He's talking about the piping not the actual intercooler. Btw most people post when they have experience, inciteful information, or a valid question. Stop being a post *****.

I think you have it backward. The Buschur Deluxe replaces the the intercooler and everything from the turbo outlet pipe to the intercooler. All of this is included with the deluxe kit. The AMS intercooler includes no piping, but you can order the AMS lower intercooler pipe which replaces the most restrictive part of the lower IC pipe, but doesn't give you the larger turbo outlet pipe. I had an AMS lower pipe before I had my Buschur deluxe kit, so I'm speaking from experience.

Honestly, my opinion is that they would perform very close to the same on a stock or larger turbo, except that the AMS cost more because it doesn't include the lower IC pipe.

Nisei intercooler pipes look very good and there intercooler is very good too. Here are the the Nisei intercooler pipes in red vs the Helix intercooler pipes.

Correct, our Deluxe FMIC kit replaces the turbo outlet elbow along with the lower i/c pipe. It is a complete intercooler and lower i/c pipe replacement. Entire kit is $695, they are on the shelf and can ship same day. (atleast this week

We see gains of 15 whp with the Deluxe over the stock FMIC consistently on the dyno.

You get more for less $ with Buschur and quality is the same IMO. Easy choice.

It's not a snap to install, but it's not like doing cams either. You need extensions, an elbow socket and you may need to massage the mounting brackets on the core to get it aligned just right. You may also need to trim the brackets holding the mesh on the inside of the nose. Finally, depending on what actuator you have, you may need to shim it for clearance from the turbo outlet pipe. It's a straight forward job if you are used to working on cars.
