Quaife Center Differential?
#16
EV0 8 with Front wavetrac lsd and centre Quaife ATB
this is spot on.
the Cusco, GSC, and the Quaife are all the same helical design. if you keep the front diff as an open unit it wont do much(as the evo 6 car had). install a 1 way front plate style diff and its on like donkey kong.
Mike the 8.5 MR is for the 6spd cars as you stated. the trans housing is different on the 5spd and 6spd trans, so this one is for the 6spd only. they also make one for the 5spd as well.
as far as our diff goes we made a run of 10 units a couple of years ago and do to the costs of running another batch and the headache of dealing with out sourced manufacturing we have elected not to run another batch. we would rather just sell the Quaife unit than deal with trying to make them again, we sell camshafts and crank shafts and want to stick with what we do best. i would highly recommend the Quaife over the Cusco as when i had a look at the cusco there were issues with the gearing and the hardness of the gears inside the unit.
On a side note we have one of the quaife 5spd centre diffs on the shelf if anyone wants one

Hi there,
Does anyone had any experience of using Wavetrac Front Diff - EVO 8-9 in (transfercase) with QDH11B Quaife ATB Helical LSD Center Differential Mitsubishi Evo 4-9 5 speed 4G63T for centre diff (transmission) with an ACD equipped Evo 8.
Any benefits of having two or just Wavetrac Front Diff - EVO 8-9 in (transfercase) would be fine.
Regards
