evo 9 actuator vs evo 8 actuator
Does any one has evo9 Actuator? I am overboosting with my 20g9 turbo and evo8 stock actuator. Suspicion that actuatro arm in the 8 travels less then 9. (5/8 of an inch) I need to know travel length of the arm of evo 9 actuator. If anyone has a chance to hook it up to a pressure source to confirm the length.
Thanks alot
Thanks alot

they are the same length. what you can do is take it off & turn the turnbuckle all the way down the shaft. this will slow your boost taper. i am spiking the stock 8 turbo to 30psi & it backs off to 24-25 @ 7500rpm. it will be tougher to put back on, but i have done several & can help u if needed...

So my assumption is that it iverboost due to not being able to openup wastegate fully as there is no more room to travel for the stock evo8 actuator arm.
What you guys think?

Just retested my High boost actuator and with Buschur 20G9 turbo it runs perfectly. Overboosts less then the stock 14PSi boost actuator that came on the car. I guess I confirm my belief that the actuator arm is the issue.
Anyways just wanted to share this info. If you getting 20G9 dont use the stock actuator you have to use highboost to run it properly and the minimum is 1.7BAR=25-26PSI @ 7500 (no boost controler, higher with one)
