Tranny question IX
Anyone have problems with the tranny being stiff. I have about 5500 miles on my IX.

Mine was notchier when I had virtually no miles. Currently I have about 2900miles and it has gotten smoother overtime.

i have 10000 miles and my tranny is notchy sometimes, 2nd to third mostly. Sometimes its smooth. No idear why

i have almost 6k miles...give it some time....it'll slowly get better... i would say around 8k or 9k itll be 100%

mine shifts great. I am around 3k miles or so. This is comparing to previous cars(srt4, many dsm's, sentra, civic etc)

My tranny is ok til i go 3 to 4th or 5th to 4th. I hope it will get better with time. other then that i love this car!!!!

the best way to smooth everything out is to change the T/C fluid & use Royal Purple. my '03 used to be notchy & miss 2nd, not anymore. i also changed the diff fuids as well...

i have 2200 miles on my BR350 IX #005 and was a little notchy up until about 1000 miles then started to loosen up nicely. now its smooth as glass in every gear up or downshifting

yea mine is notchy to going from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th with 700 miles on my car.

Mine is butter! Matter of fact, it's so nice that I'm hesitant to add a short throw because it's just so smooth... not like my VIII was.
