Warrtalon, if all you care about is drag racing, why not sell the EVO and get a eclipse gsx? It is way cheaper to make faster (has gone way faster than the fastest evo), and has basically the same engine and drive train layout? Maybe you are wasting your money.

There is nothing wrong with those mods. Just need to optimize fueling.

You will find that if you don't mod along the same exact path as warrelton, you will get flamed.

Same goes for parts, if you do not CHOOSE to select only parts from his "sponsoring list" you will also get flamed. He is a good driver, but definately not the quickest or fastest around.

By the way what were the track conditions/elevation temperature, humidity, etc. That can also make a difference. What rpm did you shift at, launch at etc? Good luck with the mods, I am getting ready to start soon as well.

Buy yourself a wideband & afc and learn to tune the car yourself. I think it is important to have this skill under your belt because none of us stop with just a few mods and flashing your ecu every time you make an upgrade may get costly. Plus you can change the setting of most of them to reflect daily driving vs racing situations.

Smart man. I agree with Cuban that the mod list is very good, but that an LICP would be a great addition in place of the springs for about the same price.
