The one off ebay that looks like the ams one is fine. A local shop tested it on the dyno with the same car with the ebay and ams frount mount and the gains are almost the same the only thing is that on top end at like around 7400k you loss a lil bit of power where talking about 2hp i dont have the dyno sheets any more if not i would show you.

The one intercooler I found on ebay is:
Bar and plate core is 12.4" tall X 20" wide X 28 and 3.75 " thick
With over 1200 cfm flow at 1 psi pressure loss

What do you guys look for, in an intercooler?

Any ideas?
Easiness of installation?
The Chinese cores offered on EBAY are known to be inferior. I would get an AMS, Buschur or Nisei if I were you.

so is it bad to have a bigger front mount with little to no mods? I upgraded because mine took a small branch to it!

The gain with the intercooler depends on many factors. I live in Puerto Rico and its very hot and high humidity, I saw a gain of 27whp with just the AMS intercooler. The locals here always see good gains with most intercoolers, a friend of mine bought one of the Ebay ones and saw a 21whp gain. I think thats impressive with a cheap intercooler. But of course we all had a good amount of mods and we were at 310-320whp already with 93 octane gas.
