The stroker would have brought the turbo in sooner but would not have effected top end power in my opinion. The turbo is a GT45R. Break in on the engine? Well we started it, got it to idle than loaded it on our dyno and thrashed the hell out of it. That is a proper break in!! haha
We built this engine to go to 10,000 rpm. Our strokers are what I would consider proven at this point good to 9,000 rpm. I still dont' recommend it but I have yet to have one fail and we have run them to almost 10,000 rpm too.
