Ways to minimize wheelhop on the EVO??

Well, wheel hop has me concerned about breaking stuff in my drivetrain....

So far I have the F/R rear Buschur mounts installed, a stronger ACT Xtreme clutch with street disc, stock flywheel, and shifter bushings...

what else can be done to minimize wheel hop on a non-lowered, stock suspension EVO??

Urethane bushings all over (Suspension, motormounts, diff, etc..), worse tires or softer sidewall tires, more power, do suspension work, slip the clutch more

There ya go

AMS has their rear trailing arm bushings that are supposed to reduce the chance of wheel hop

Stiffer shocks will eliminate this problem completely. Urethane motor mounts also help, although your interior will rattle (along with the rest of the car) because more excess engine vibrations being transmitted through the stiffer engine mounts.

And it works like a charm but its only for the rear end.

But as far as the front goes i must say you need to get the full powerflex kit your motor wont move at all. Im waiting for my full kit to come in so i can put it on my car it makes the car feel like a champ. I was called by AMS to test there prototype front motor mount and it works great shifting in the car is solid. But for the way i drive its not enough i need the hole thing and im going to get rid of the ams mount.
