Shift Points, Power, and Gearing

ok, well I guess I dont have my terminology correct, lol.
I am not a scientist nor a physisist (Cant even spell it ).
You can multiply, divide or cut in half whatever TQ, power, whatever is the correct way to write it all you want.
My point was VERY simple.... generally speaking, lower gears make a car accelerate faster.
There is a point when the lower gear ratio will not accelerate the car faster.. the reason why the lower gear will accelerate the car quicker is because the lower gear gets to multiply the TQ more than the higher gear. So even though your motor is making less TQ you can still accelerate faster until the multiplied TQ is lower than the TQ from the next gear. TQ changes in each gear, I am sorry if I said the word power instead of TQ.
