I would like the vendors (tuner shops) to state plausible facts and not to contradict out of revulsion for another tuner. We tend to follow any advice they (the tuners) may give. The last thing we/I want is to end up with a blown engine.

The sad thing is that Dave does this all the time. And he gets away with it more often than not. This time it was just plainly obvious for others to see. But he's the most honest person he knows so I guess it must have been a simple oversight and not an attempt to shed bad light upon a competitor's product.

Mr. Buschur is 100% correct as always in this matter

I have been in about 25 cars tuning when either the FPR line or the boost gauge line attached to it have poped off under full load in 3rd gear

in all of those cases the car went so lean that the power dropped dramatically and no enginme damage resulted

IT IS GOOD PRACTICE TO NOT tap any boost source off the FPR line what so ever - there is no substitute for prudence in that regard

however Mr. Buschur was correct that in most cases nothing bad happens

Shiv, you have bashed more vendors than any other vendor I know

I don't think that Mr. Buschur even knew who you were before you insulted him and called him a red neck a couple of years back - not to mention insulting the entire DSM community and DSM's in particular as well

I don't think his coment had any relationship what so ever yo you or your product - just related to the fuel pressure regulator line as far as I read his comment in english

Remember Mr. Buschur is a pioneer of DSM racing and a guy who has smased more records than anyone I know of - he is a living legend and a guy who has a lot more racing and tuning accomplishments under his belt than you. I think he was racing while you were still in grade school.

I think he has been spending the past week correcting all your "work' on the 25 hour evo

Anyway - don't diss Mr. Buschur its realy counter productive to your reputation to anyone who knows of Mr. Buschur and his talents.

You mentioned in post #16 that you where running this off the narrowband 02. Is that the chart in pink in that screenshot? Are you converting narrowband 02 voltage to wideband-like AFR numbers?
