Buschur Racing Dyno Tunes New 3065 Turbo Kit
#91
Just a quick update.
I had my car at the Mitsubishi Vs Subaru race that we hosted yesterday at Norwalk Raceway Park. Best time of the day was a 11.04@128mph. This was with 29psi nothing more and C16. It will go 10's with no doubt. It is spinning ALOT right out of the hole.

I forgot to ask the 60' yesterday. To give everyone an idea how bad his car was spinning and the potential of the BR3065 kit.....my RS went 11.11 at 123.8 mph with a 1.57 sixty foot time. Had Jarrod's car ran a 1.57 sixty foot I'd say it would be good for a 10.7 pass at close to 130 mph. Not bad no matter how you look at it for a stock engine, head, intake, throttle body, 272 cams, 29 psi, full weight plus some sound equipment and monitor.

david, i realize that i may have asked this before but is there any way to run the 3065 with an aftermarket radiator?
it looks to me as though your 3065 is an amazing kit indeed, but i just worry about that wastegate clearance.

I just ordered my 3065 kit from Buschur today.
It looks like all the hard work and R&D done on this turbo is paying off with some huge numbers on the dyno and awesome numbers at the track. I'm looking forward to getting this thing on my IX.
I'll be getting tuned for alky, 280 cams (the new GSC ones) and this turbo all at once. I suppose I better be ready for a serious upgrade in hp after that tune. Thanks Buschur

alwaysinboost,
As Jarrod corrected you. I also want to make sure it is understood that Jarrod's head, shortblock, intake manifold, throttle body are all 100% untouched stock parts. Not bored, gasket matched nor have them even been removed from the car. Car even has stock valve springs/retainers in it.
The 3065 kit will not fit with the large thick aftermarket radiators. Jarrod had a Koyo in his and we had to remove it. We have changed the mounting point for the wastegate to make a little more clearance but I don't think it is going to be enough for the larger thick radiators.
