BR8EIX gap them or not?

Sup guys just need a quick answer i did my search and not have found a complete answer. I read that your not suppose to gap iridium plugs, but then i hear its ok to gap them if you be really careful, i also read that nothing comes pre gapped nowadays, im about to throw these plugs in and need an answer. If i do gap i should go for .026-.028 right?

I don't think you can/are suppose to gap Iridium plugs.

Its very hard to gap iridium plugs but it can be done, you just have to be very careful not to brake the tip.

Also remember that these are 1 heat range colder than stock and not really needed unless you are running much higher boost where you are more prone to detonation. The colder plugs have a tendency to foul much quicker.

24psi and above, in order to keep colder plugs from fouling you really need to get cylinder temps up (aka push the car hard) to keep the colder plugs from fouling on you. On a basic setup you are best off by going w/ the same heat range as stock in either copper (cheaper) or iridium.

interesting. I definately think the whole change your plugs with every oil change is a smart way to go at it but I can only imagine what it will do to my pocket.

It won't do anything to your pocket if you use NGK BPR7ES. They cost $1.40 each. I buy them in packs of 10.

Where do you buy them? Online or at a local store?

Please don't use BR7ES. Use BPR7ES gapped to .026.

You can get them at Advanced Auto or any regular automotive store as long as they carry NGK. They usually don't have them in stock but can get them from another store in a day. I buy packs of 10.
