jeff, did you ever have any problems with your exhaust hitting the drive shaft?

Do you want it quieter, or just smaller? Cuz smaller is easy, just have somewhere cut the old tip off, and wield a new one on... Quieter is a little harder

get the apex'i WS NOIR.

It does taper towards the cat, but thats just how most manufacturers make the exhaust to properly mate with factory catalytic converter.

Yes I did have the exhaust hit the shaft. I ended up getting kart boy hangers and a stiffy engine dampener. This didn't allow for the exhaust to move anymore. Bad things happened from that as well:

That being said, I emailed Megan Racing and they told me that was a design flaw and they sent me a brand new mid pipe and s-pipe free of charge. Megan racing has very good customer service.

As for sounds and appearance. I don't care how loud it is, what I just dont like is the rice-boy image that it portrays.

I'm searching for pics of the Perrin, Rmr, and Greedy EVO2 now. Feel free to post some links as well.

The Injen is a full 3' from end to end and looks just like OEM.

I'm having a very hard time finding pics of these exhausts on the car. Any help would be appreciated.

Also I'm getting lots of PM's about my wing. That wing is the standard Lancer wing. They usually come with a third pillar in the center. I removed the third pillar because I like this look better. The low wing uses the same mounts as the CF wing. They can be switched in 10 minutes. I only run the CF wing for track days and even then I dont always switch it.

I had the same hangup with my RMR and its angled cannister muffler. The Perrin I picked up weighs nothing, and has amazing fit and finish. Sounds perfect, looks perfect. Best overall exhaust for this car under 500whp IMHO.

I love the stock look of the APEXI

This is what I'm looking for.

Any pics of the Perrin?

RS*R Exmag, the non-GTII one ... tip is sooooooo sweet looking, looks almost like stock but better, comes out straight as can be and is fairly quiet in comparison to other exhausts!
