To GT35R or FP3065 ???? choices, decisions....

I know I may get flamed for asking this question, but I dont care.... I wanna know what you guys know of the power/spooling potential of these two turbos on the stock bottom end?

Which would be more fun on the street? road course?

fp 3065 spools a lil bit faster and the 35r has more top end....think of it as between a 30r and 35r. they're good on dsm's but everybody's waiting for jarrod at buschur to put race gas in his car and put it on the dyno so we can see how it is on an evo

true, I'd like to see how well it does on 93 + alky/meth, but then I heard Jarrod's not even gonna bother with the Alky, but run race gas....

Too bad we have to wait for results....... waiting sucks when we wanna know now....

Yeah we need to see the FP3065 on alcohol/meth and see what it does.

50trims are doing 470-500whp
GT35Rs are doing 480-550whp

If the FP3065 can put down 500whp-520whp, it will be golden, especially if it spools a little quicker than the 35R.

That's already been done on DSMs multiple times. It has a 35R compressor wheel with a slightly smaller turbine wheel for better spool. I had one for a little bit, it was a great street turbo IMHO.

dsm's, not evo's

all of us are hoping the results will be the same but nothing's for sure.

Evo cylinder head and the 2G cylinder head perform extremely similar, stock intake manifolds are very different though.

It is a turbo option from Buschur on their kit and I believe is the same cost as their 35R kit.

Go big or don't bother. It ends up being very expensive for little gain with smaller turbos. It will be better of course, but not worth what you are gonna pay.

If you're not going to run alky or race gas I wouldn't bother with the 35r. As for the 3065, I don't know enough about it....ok I don't even know what it is.

All I know is on pump gas the 35r is a dog.

Put c16 and 30+ psi and well....the 35r will pound everything else into the ground.

If I remember correctly, Buschur's black evo went 10.12 with a 3065 before they yanked it out and went with the 42R or whatever they are using now. I'm currently putting my 3065 on my MR with a 2.4L. Should know in a week or so how much power it will make.
