Just wondering if anyone has any info on this exhaust, I see that its new to lancershop, so idk if anyone has it, but the idea of it is that its suppose to be a low key looking exhaust, it comes in matte black, and my espelir draws cops in like crazy so im thinking about changing up the exhaust...
let me know any iinfo guys...

I believe it does taper as do most cat backs

 

so its 2.5 inch at the cat flange?

it tapers towards the cat. The taper will ensure proper fitment onto factory catalytic converter.

It's just their WS exhaust with a black finish.

 

so does anyone know if this has full 3inch piping all the way through? looking to swap out my HKS Hiper for something less flashy. I don't care bout the sound, just looks.

 

If its the WS exhaust I dont think so? I always thought the WS was 2.5? correct me if im wrong..

 

get yourself some high temp spray paint and paint your existing exhaust, I did it to mine and it worked great. Cops like shiny things

 

the resonator section shrinks down to about 2.5 inches. the guys at RRE offer to swap it to a full 3 inches for a small fee. i have the exhaust and i love it, it looks stocker than stock and has a tone just a tad deeper than stock.

 

Cops gonna hate no matter what your exhaust looks like if you're driving an Evo. I have the RSR ExMag (the one that looks exactly like stock), the cops are still giving me a hard time with it.

But the RSR is pretty quite and it does tappered at the cat. The piping is 80 mm I measured. Nice exhaust.

 

well if there's anyone out there with either the RSR exmag of the Apex Noir I am willing to trade for my HKS Hiper.

 

Might wanna check out the Tanabe Touring Medallion... it looks stock and it's alot quieter than my Helix and I have an o2 housing and catless TBE. I painted mine black and alot of people can't tell the difference.. only thing is, the tip is a little big, but it's not too much bigger than stock.
