I bought the last one at $1399 I was told. Exedy USA is backordered currently so he is now pulling some stock from other places which obviously costs more.

 

sorry for OT but what about the Exedy D core twin plate carbon clutch? Is that not a recommended street clutch?

 

quick question as far as parts go all i need for a clutch install other then the clutch is the throw out bearing right? anything else i need before i take it to get installed.

 

It is recommended to replace the flywheel bolts at the time of install. A lot of people reuse them, but I wouldn't. Also get yourself some lock-tite for the flywheel bolts and PP bolts. Some neverseize for the input shaft and TOB/clutch fork pivot points wouldn't hurt either.

 

any auto store should have this stuff?

 

is that a preference thing? my clutch is fine right now, but when time comes do places replace those and do that? im planning on going to ttp....

it seems like i can never get an answer to my question about this clutch,everytime i ask i get nothing.So i,ll try again.I had the sd excedy twin in my 03 and want to know if the HD still has the same decel noise and is there any chattering on a normal take off(engagement) Can someone who uses this cluth PLEASE give me an answer i,d appreciate it, Thanks

As far as I have heard the only difference is the HD uses a stronger diaphragm spring. This means that the noise and chatter is going to be the same.
