Shifting into 3rd gear?

Same problem, I assumed it was my short shifter, all solid bushings and ACT clutch lockout. It happens at the weirdest times. Sometimes when I'm not even shifting hard. New clutch is going in this week, I'll update.

Ya i was just doing some searching on this also...
Got an Evo 9 5speed here that only grinds when i try and drive it after its been sitting for a few hours.
Ill wake up in the morning and it'll take two tries to get it into Reverse (no grind, just stiff), and then will grind slightly upshifting into third gear the first two or three shifts and then its fine. Ill spend the rest of the day cruising or getting on it with no issues but acts like a grouch when she first wakes up. I'm not really complaining or worried... but just wandering if there was something to do that didn't involve a pricey and un-needed early rebuild.
