should install fuel pump ?

i just installed the cams in my car "272" ... Lopey .. but runs awsome ..
and havnt installed the walbro fuel pump .. cuz i read some posts the car will run much more richer .. i am plannin to save the fuel pump till i get a tune ..
the thing is i wanna know how much the stock fuel pump could hold on ! .. with my current mods "intake, TBE, Ic pipping" .. and still havnt installed my MBC either .. so would the stock fuel pump deliver enough fuel .. or should i upgrade to the walbro??
"runnin 91 octane" btw ..

i am puttin mods alltogether cuz i can't send out my ecu twice !
i know i should tune with the intake and cams and such ..

i asked about the afc before .. and war said it wont be like a flash .. so i contacted Jestrtunning and they say they are able gonna do it for a good price

car won't run richer. fuel delivery does not change AFR.

i say do it right before the tune since it doesn't take long and warr said before he had hard evidence that it runs richer all over

I have heard from WARR that its the one of the safest things you can do for your car. Even more so when you start modding. You said you dont want to tune though? It sounds like you havent tuned your car to even the cams you just did. If thats the case thats not to amart either. Fuel pump cost 100 bucks. I have done some reading I have heard the Walbro 255 is the most popular but has siezed up before. I have also heard the Supra TT is nice too. I went with the Walbro. Its a good mod to have and then you wont have to worry about it if you ever get bigger injectors!!! DO IT!

The stock pump unrewired can not support the airflow the turbo is capable, and you will max out the stock turbo on the cams easily, around 20 psi at redline. Stock unrewired it's good for 35 lbs/min both mathematically at this boost pressure and measured on a WBO2. Rewired it will support ~44 lbs/min, and indeed I have verified it up to 43 lbs/min, the most I have ever been able to get out of the stock turbo.

A quick point I'd like to make regarding tuning after cam install. WTF for? I have never tuned after a cam install, even on the EVO. After cams my airflow increased by 3 lbs/min at the same boost and the car picked up 3 mph at the track, but AFR and timing were completely unchanged, as you would expect. We are running mass airflow sensors, not pressure sensors, the ECU knows when airflow is increased by any mod we add to the car. I see it constantly on this board, but I can't understand why. Maybe it's just the DSMer in me...
