ex greddy ti owner here as well. just way too loud. switched to HKS Hiper exhaust and its perfect. nice tone and not that loud. it should work good with stock turbo but I got a bigger turbo and it was hurting my power a bit so I now have a custom 3inch exhaust. HKS does sound and look nice and I think youll like it.

Well... it's done.
Switched the GReddy TI to an HKS Carbon TI.
The HKS unit (being basically all SS instead of TI) also has a resonator. I am happy to report that the car is definetly alot quieter IMO, but still has a nice powerful sound to it. The HKS unit is by no means a "quiet" exhaust, but it's alot more relaxed than the GReddy TI.
Cruising on the highway or just on the street is now alot nicer for the everyday... I do feel a bit of a loss of power on the highway at the higher RPM ranges, but I was expecting that so it's ok. I miss the GReddy as its an EXCELLENT exhaust, but for a daily driver I think the HKS is a better choice.

Don't mean to hijack but what other really light exhausts are out there? I don't want anything too loud so it seems like I should stay away from the Greddy...I'm mostly interested in power though
