TTP, how much boost are you holding at 7000-7500 with your setup, and also, what actuator do you use? Stock, Forge?

Was using a red spring Forge WGA. Then switched to the lighter blue. Now I am using a patent pending prototype WGA from Forge. Hopefully they will release the production units soon on this.

34.1 on a stock turbo huh? That's f$#kin bannas.

What would you recommend running a stock wastegate at?

If I do decide to upgrade my actuator (which I am seriously considering) - how big a job is that? Is that something I can leave the turbo on the car for or am I gonna have to pull it of the car?

On my second custom tune me and Al found out that my car was putting the peak dyno numbers at 28psi but that does not mean is the limit, 28psi is what it work for me with my mods and gas.

If you take TTP engineering Evo you will see that they maximizie their turbo even more due to better gas, more methanol and a lot of bolt ons.

So you wouldn't find a definite answer, we know cars like TTP engineering push the limits on stock turbo .

I understand that it all depends on alot of things however I am interested in hearing everyones thoughts and opnions on the subject. A vendor like TTP is def pushing their Evo as far as possible to show off what they do. I understand that. But if the stock turbo is capable of pushing 34.1 it makes feel alot more confident that 28-29 is gonna be where i end up.

Are u using stock actuator?

Yes, stock actuator and stock injectors. Keep in mind my turbo is working harder at higher elevation also.

He is looking more to find out the max in other words what is a stock turbo capable of doing, how much boost can you build eficiently before you actually loose power.

You will find that type of answer from people that took their cars to the dynos and run different levels of boost. Also we are looking for people that took the turbo to its limits, someone that runs 20psi on the stock turbo will be irrelevant to this issue.

This is aimed for people with tons of bolt ons, people that ran race gas, people that dyno their stock turbo at high boost and off course people that had ran their cars at the track and can tell you that they ran faster at 26psi than 20psi, that is what this guy is after
