Evo 8 rods

I was wondering if anyone knew about the evo 8 rods (as far as
being forged) and if they were closer in size to the 1G dsm or 2G?

The tech manual says they are forged piston and rods.

If so, I don't see any reason to upgrade until the first brave
souls start busting them from too much power.

Stock cast DSM pistons are good for 400hp. I would *guess* the EVO forged units would be good for at *least* as much.

I believe the rods are forged but the pistons are cast.
