I went through the trouble of trying three different things tonight.

First I ran a vaccum line from the turbo nipple to the wastegate to test wastegate PSI in all gears. Again 1st-3rd held a solid 15PSI but once I hit 4th PSI climbed to 20PSI. Not as bad as 25 but still somethings being a PITA.

Second I swapped over to a manual boost controller. I was able to set 20PSI in 1st-3rd but 4 climbed to 24PSI.

Lastly I turned the wastegate actuator one full turn. No change.

This weekend I will be pulling the housing off the car.

One question that I think will resolve the whole issue....

Do you have the new style 10.5 housing with the single flapper (I am guessing YES).

are you suggesting the dual flapper 10.5HS will not creep?

I am saying that we have two groups of people....

One groups is saying "the ebay O2 housing is causing creep in my car"....

the other group is saying "no creep in my car, what are you talking about?"

I had the EVO 6.5 TME turbo with old style dual flapper wastegate along with the Ebay O2 housing and never had any problems at all.

I am NOT 100% sure this is the issue, but when you have two groups of people with very different experiances using the same produce (Ebay O2 housing) you need to look for other differences that can cause differences in WG performance..... haveing an entirely different WG design is a glareing difference that could be the factor separating the two groups.

Single flapper. But why wouldn't it spike/creep in 3rd gear?

The higher the gear the more sustained load you are putting on the engine, the more likely you are to have creep when the wastegate is on the edge of it's ability to handle your boost control needs.

Your best option in a situation like this is to go to a better WG setup by either porting your single flapper out or switching to the dual flapper setup. A less effort / less expensive option is to go back to a more restrictive O2 housing.
