Anyone know why APS bov causing car to buck?

I've noticed that my car bucks in 5th gear after I put my APS bov on. I tried tightening the screw, and loosening it, but it doesn't seem to really help. Anyone know anything about this? It's just 5th gear, all the other gears are ok. I also have a HKS RS intake and can hear the bov fluttering in lower rpms too. Bad? or good? I'm thinking about putting the stock plastic one back on and maybe just getting an MR bov.

Did you install it correctly? Just wondering cause the mine has been really good. I had the Forge bov there and it was so terrible on the track when I had it, everyone who rode with me commented on how the whole car would buck, on and off throttle. The APS was smooth and awesome on my last track day and for daily driving. Just gotta play with the settings a bit.

I have the Injen intake and piping on my car, and if you refer to the pic below, this is how I have my APS installed. The adjustment stuff should be facing towards you. Hope that helps.

I sold my aps and bought a forge, now I'm kicking myself in the a$$. 5th gear would do the same thing as I let off the gas. Where are you racing that gets you into 5th?

Have you tried adjusting it any? I had horrible "bucking" with the JDM MR valve but 0 problems with the APS after a slight adjustment. The only complaint I have against the APS is that it's HUGE.

I have an HKS intake, and my vacuum nipple is pointed downwards, just like it does on a stock intake setup, is that incorrect?
