If you only have a TBE, flash and FMIC, you might want to re-install the stock exhaust and FMIC and take it in for service. The re-install costs are small (or DIY) but the tranny repair costs a fortune. They won't notice the flash.

Hmm, your the first with the 5th gear grind on the Evo IX that I'm aware of. I obviously could be wrong but your definitely the first I'm hearing of. Goodluck.

ok well just recently (for about 1 month) for me say im going 65 on the freeway and put it in neutral to coast. well when i push the clutch and put it into 5th it has a little grinding noise however if i rev then push clutch and put in 5th nothing happens. anyone have a solution??
