Clutch Engagement point higher after launch?

I've noticed a weird problem as of late:

I've done 2 rather hard launches in the last few days...... and after each launch, my engagement point keeps moving out farther (must let the pedal out more)........ Any idea what would cause this? I am not sliping the clutch, rather a quick drop (not sidesteping).

Yea, you end up wearing off some of the clutch. have you noticed it being higher still after it cools down and you drive it normally?

Yes, it is the stock clutch, 10k miles......... in the first 3k miles i did 20+ launches and i never noticed any changes in the pedal engagment........ then the last week i did 5-7 launches over a 2 day period....... first day i did 3 launches and i noticed my clutch was engaging alot higher so i readjusted the pedal and did 2 more launches, same thing pedal higher again... i dont want to keep adjusting the pedal because i know something is really wrong... what can it be? i don't slip the clutch rather a mild drop... the clutch still grips very well, no slipping, just the change in engagement... any help?

After my first launch i noticed that as well, but since then and 20+ launches it hasn't changed a bit.

Also after that first launch, i can just let out the clutch pedal without giving it any gas and the car doesn't die, it just goes like i am giving it gas. How weird is that?
