Well, tuning this thing is proving to be more difficult than i thought it would be. It looks like im going to have to dump the MAF soon. Jack, what is the maximum flow of the stock MAF?
im seeing 2450 Hz at about 7500-8000 rpm. i have the fuel cut set at 2500, im not sure how much higher i can go. Im thinking of bitting the bullet and getting a AEM soon...

I don't have the turbo back yet and I'm not too familiar with braided hoses but I'd be willing to give someone a few bucks if they can help. I would assume these would need to "flow" at the same rate the stockers do.
Well I'm way here

the one thing that does concern me is if the ECU can mathematically handle values over 3000hz.. What I did was scale my blowthrough meter so the curve reads lower at higher RPM, then I would still have a good range of tuning within the parameters the ECU can read.. But it throws off what the ECU sees as airflow.. so you have to tune accordingly..

New Idea for Blowthrough set-up?

Don't know if this would help, but take a look at this thread from the suby forums:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1013929
It's a custom made blow through set-up for an STI. Harman Motive made it & I know they tune Evos, so maybe it could made to work for an Evo.....
It's worth a call.....

From what i've read, several people seem to have issues with clearance..
Looks like a very, very promising turbo nonetheless.

No, It's a tight fit with the stock radiator. I know for sure it won't clean the Koyo racing radiator.
