BR lower intercooler pipe and MBC question

Ok I have a Buschur Racing lower intercooler pipe, Buschur Racing race front mount and Buschur Racing MBC. this is my question.

When i installed the BR lower intercooler pipe it doesnt have a nipple on it for the hose that runs to the MBC. Sooo I did what i was told and Spliced the hose in between the BOV and the intake manifold (picture included). My problem is that it leaks boost now. I have tried clamps and zip ties but still leaks. I know it leaks cuz i did a pressure test on the system and i can hear it leak, and i know it leaks cuz if i slowly build boost up oonce it hits between 10 to 15psi, the BOV starts to sputter and then after a few seconds i lose all boost. BUT if i WOT, it will hold 20psi of boost til 5500rpm then it will slowly start losing boost.
My mods are:
Buschur Racing EVO VIII 3" DOWNPIPE
Buschur Racing EVO VIII 3" HIGH FLOW CATALYTIC CONVERTER
Buschur Racing EVO VIII 3" CATBACK
Buschur Racing MANUAL BOOST CONTROLLER
Buschur Racing EVO VIII MAF PIPE KIT
Buschur Racing EVO VIII UPPER INTERCOOLER PIPE
Buschur Racing FORGE BOV USING YELLOW SPRING
Buschur Racing RACE FRONT MOUNT INTERCOOLER
Buschur Racing LOWER INTERCOOLER PIPE
Buschur Racing SHORT THROW SHIFTER
Buschur Racing HKS 272 INTAKE CAMSHAFT
Buschur Racing HKS 272 EXHAUST CAMSHAFT
Buschur Racing APR HEAD STUD KIT
Buschur Racing WALBRO 255LPH FUEL PUMP
HKS FINE TUNE STRONG TIMING BELT
AND a DynoFlash done with all mods included

Is there anywhere else i can splice into?
Is this the right place to splice into?
Is there anything that clamps the hose better?

Ok i just took some more pictures.

The Buschur Racing MBC has a top and bottom nipple. The Bottom Nipple runs to the 'T' between the Forge BOV and the Intake Manifold (Picture from the first tread). and the Top Nipple runs to the Waste gate Actuator (Picture in this thread).

So the vac lines are leaking? Maybe your using too large (inside diameter) of vac line. I believe I use 4mm and with zipties they never leak. If it slides on the nipple very easily it's probably too big.

Edit: If it's just the "T" that's leaking you can get a larger one so it fits more snug on the vac lines...

I don't know about your setup, but on my car the LICP is on the opposite side as the boost controller, I have the Horsepower freaks LICP, which is on the left side of the car when looking at the engine. The best way to hook up the MBC is using the turbo nipple as the source. I didn't like when I had T-ed it off the BOV method, but since i switched I couldn't be happier.

I know someone already mentioned it, but just try getting a new "T" fitting...maybe the fitting has a small leak in it and its not the hose.

*side note* I hate boost leaks lol, gonna test mine tonight.

I have used 3 different 'T's' I cant seem to get this to stop fluttering at low boost. This one i installed just now is bigger and still leaks. Here is a Picture of the new set up. now I have boost leaks out of this so i dont know if anything will stop them, unless i got something hooked up wrong.

try hooking the Boost controler off of the, Nipple on the turbo insted of the bov, then do a leak test, and take a drive and see how things work for you.

That is how i have mine hooked up on my eclipse, allthough I totaly understand evo is a different car but this might help you. Test it out and see how it works.

and do remember MBC's are notorious for having little leaks.

its the nipple right off the stock turbo! its right behind the wastegate actuator nipple. There should have been a line going there when you added your MBC and took out the stock lines. In your drawing it looks like you capped off your turbo nipple, so I would use that as the source instead of T-ing into the BOV.

It wont hurt anything to try to go to the turbo nipple instead of using a 'T' between the BOV and intake manifold right? i just dont want to harm anything. is there anyone out there that owns an evo that went to the turbo instead? This is my baby, im sure you know what i mean

That's how I have mine hooked up, using the turbo nipple as the source, thats the best way to hook it up in my opinion.

What did you do with the original factory boost hoses? Are they still connected to any fittings? Did you seal off the fitting on the intake hose that connects the MAF to the turbo inlet?
