Amsoil Or Bg Syncro Shift Ii

I have BG (non synthetic) in my AWD DSM for ~50k miles w/o changing. Still shifts great. I have changed it once before at 30k and it looked and smelled just like new after 30k so left it in longer this time. I will change it soon. I have been using BG for probably 8 yrs with great results. It is the closest thing to "new synchros in a bottle" that I have used.

I'm on my 3rd gear oil change with amsoil (recommended owners manual viscosity) and I love the stuff, I don't think it's as smooth as bg synchroshift but it gives me a peace of mind since it does meet the recommended viscosity, and still shifts smoothly.

for the MR's 6spd theres no equivalent 75w85 theres like **** loads of 75w90
but i figured as long as its GL-4 and has the 75w when hot. 5 when cold shouldnt make too much of a difference since i warm my car up and drive slow for atleast 10 miles before i get on it.
