How many people out there change there exhaust (TB) and don't have a problem with codes(SES) light?

Just about everyone gets a code when removing the cat, but it doesn't matter - just add a CEL FIX. Easy.

what about mech cel fix , tune ,TB and still getting SES light?

Then something's wrong - go find out what the code is at Autozone, then report back to us.

You where right. The hose to the egr valve came off.
Very common problem I was told
